Jim D. Rawhouser, Sr.

Jim died Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Jim D. Rawhouser, Sr. was born June 13, 1940 in Columbus, Nebraska to Delmer and Eva (Gorton) Rawhouser. He grew up in Valley, Nebraska and graduated from Waterloo High School. Jim married Teena Blahak on May 29, 1962 at St. Paul's Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa. The couple lived in Columbus where he owned his own truck and drove for Moorman Feed. He later worked for Central Community College, retiring in 2003 after 30 years. Jim was a member of St. Anthony Church, Eagles Club & the N.R.A.. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also collected unusual things such as antique license plates and razors.
