James "Jim" A. Mausbach of Columbus died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Countryside Home in Madison.
James Alfred Mausbach was born November 12, 1928 in Humphrey to Henry and Agnes (Pillen) Mausbach. Jim was raised on the family farm by Humphrey where he lived and farmed until moving to Columbus in 1992. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Delores Sueper on April 15, 1952. Jim was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and served on the Platte Center CO-OP Board. He loved to dance, listen to Polka music, chopping weeds, and socialize with everyone he could.

Daughter Laura (Mel) Brandl of Humphrey
Son Kenneth Mausbach of Lincoln
Daughter Alice (Mike) Sprunk of Platte Center
Son Gary (Joan) Mausbach of Humphrey

Brothers Francis, Joseph, and Vincent Mausbach
Sisters: Esther Fyfe, Margaret Magsamen, Irene Moran, and Mary Ann Fuchs
