Jesse Hopkins

Jesse D. Hopkins, 63, of Log Lane Village, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 13, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.

He was born December 23, 1955, in Columbus, NE to Boyd & Clara Hopkins. Jesse married Brenda Ohlmann in Montrose, CO on March 29, 1984.  They have lived in Morgan County for over 35 years.  Before retiring, Jesse worked for Cargill Meat Solutions. Jesse enjoyed farming, hunting & fishing, and prospecting precious metals.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; 2 children Eric and Jennifer;1 sister Jill; and 2 brothers, Jeff and Jake.  He was preceded in death by 1 sister, 1 brother and his parents.
