Jerome C. Griesman

Jerome died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his home in Columbus.

Jerome Griesman was born December 12, 1946 on a farm in Greeley County, Nebraska to Anthony E. and Monica (Huhman) Griesman. He graduated from Spalding Public High School in 1965 and obtained an Associates Degree in Drafting from S.C.C. in Milford in 1967 and also a Commercial Arts Degree in 1976 from S.C.C. He then obtained a Fine Arts Degree in 1977 at C.C.C. in Columbus. Jerome served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from June 1968 January 1970. He was a self-employed carpenter. Jerome loved trains, the idea of blacksmithing, framing pictures, painting with various types of mediums, making wine, gardening, traveling and cooking. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, Knights of Columbus and the Columbus Area Arts Council.
