Jeremy Shank

Jeremy Shank, 22, of Columbus died Friday April 26, 2002 in Lincoln. Services are 10:30 am Tuesday April 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. Visitation is on Monday from 5-8 pm at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the Church from 9:30 until service time. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 am Tuesday at the Church. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.

Jeremy Shank was born July 17, 1979 in Aurora, NE to Tom & Pam (Zywiec) Shank. He grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1998 where he played football for the Discoverers. He received his Associates Degree from Central Community College-Platte Campus in 2000 where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He was a volunteer with the Head Start program where he enjoyed reading to children. He was currently a senior at Wayne St. College where he was majoring in Chemistry and Biology and served as a Teachers Assistant in the Chemistry department. He enjoyed athletics, camping (bonfires) , hunting, and fishing. He loved martial arts and participated in Taekwondo for many years.
