Jennifer M Duerksen, 37, went to her eternal home on January 29, 2020 in Columbus, Nebraska. She was born on March 10, 1982. She was the daughter of Edward Duerksen of McRae, Arkansas and Patricia Kindschuh of Columbus, Nebraska.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 1C - The Sanctuary Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to her mother, Patricia Kindschuh, 116 E. 30 th Street, Columbus, NE.
Jennifer grew up in Albion, Nebraska where she attended school. She was a 2000 graduate of Albion High School. She lived many years in Norfolk before relocating to Columbus. Jennifer enjoyed watching movies, crocheting and was especially proud of her plants. Animals held a special place in heart and she enjoyed loving her dog named Sassy.
Jennifer is survived by her parents Ed (Angie) Duerksen and Patricia Kindschuh, her brothers, Adam Duerksen (Shayna Buettner) of Albion, Bryan Harms (Allissia Gronenthal) of Stanton, and sisters Sherri Harms of Las Vegas Nevada and Jamie Duerksen of Kansas City, Missouri, Step-sister Bobbi White of Arkansas and Stepbrother, Jeremy White of Arkansas, her grandmothers Joan Majerus of Columbus and Dorothy Duerksen of Broken Bow, grandparents Robert and Marianne Woeppel of Lincoln, as well as nieces, nephews, many aunts/uncles and a host of cousins and special friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Duerksen and stepfathers Donald Harms and Val Ray Planer.
