Jeffery "Jeff" Mielak

Jeffery "Jeff" Mielak, age 55 of Columbus, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Lincoln, NE.

Memorial Services are Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home.

Jeffery R. Mielak was born August 23, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln after a short illness. He graduated from Scotus in 1983. Jeffery worked several years at the Corner Stop and most recently was employed at the Super Saver in the meat department. He enjoyed his associates and helping customers. He liked traveling and visiting the casinos in the area. He also enjoyed the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota and visiting his uncle while there, and Nebraska football with his cousin Greg Jones.

He is survived by: Mother: Barbara A. Mielak and Sister: Debra Mielak, and 4 uncles and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Robert V. Mielak
