Jeannette Martin, 88, of Columbus died Monday, July 14, 2003 at Columbus Community Hospital. Services are 10:00 am Friday, July 18, 2003 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4-8 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation continues on Friday from 8-9:30 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the donors choice.

Jeanette Martin was born November 15, 1914 in Horace, NE to Walter A. & Bell (Jefferies) Crockett. She married Patrick Martin at North Loup, on September 18, 1933. They lived in Gothenburg for 60 years where she was a homemaker and a Cake Decorator. They moved to Columbus in 1998, where Patrick lived in Columbus Manor. Patrick died November 24, 2001. Jeannette was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus, was past President of the Mother of Good Council Church Altar Society in Gothenburg, Birthday Club, and Home Extension Club in Gothenburg.
