Jeannette Lloyd

Jeannette Lloyd of Columbus died Friday, July 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.

Jeannette E. Lloyd was born May 2, 1930 in Columbus to Frank and Mae (Simon) Haferland. She grew up in rural Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School in 1948. On November 10, 1954, Jeannette was united in marriage to Robert E. Lloyd at St. Francis Church in Humphrey. They farmed and lived in the St. Edward area where she worked at the Cloverlodge Care Center. They moved to Columbus in 2002. Jeannette was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sporting events of her children, and Husker sports.
