Jeanne Elizabeth Heintz, age 86, of Columbus, Nebraska formerly of Grand Island, Nebraska died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Beverly Health Care in Columbus. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the McKown Funeral Home Chapel in Columbus. Visitation is 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday also at the funeral home. Burial is in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus.

Jeanne Elizabeth Heintz was born October 18, 1918 in Brooklyn, Illinois to Charles Ray and Dorothy Ellen (Beal) Penington. She was raised in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1937. On January 27, 1946 she was united in marriage to Henry J. Heintz in Columbus. Jeanne lived in Grand Island, Nebraska before moving back to Columbus in December 2004. She was a homemaker.
