Jeanette F. Urkoski, 71, of Silver Creek passed away May 20, 2015 at home surrounded by family.
Jeanette Frances was born on May 22, 1943 to Frank Sr. and Frances (Shefcyk) Dubas at home in Nance County. She attended Mt. Zion Country School and graduated from Fullerton High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, Ronald Urkoski on April 20th 1963. To this union four children were born. Jeanette loved being a wife, mother, homemaker and caregiver. She loved to camp, create crafts, bake, cook, listen to polkas, spend time with family and spoil the grandkids. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the St. Lawrence Altar Society.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Theresa) of Seward, NE; Annette (Mike) McClellen of Papillion, NE; Ronda (Darrin) Engleman of LaVista, NE; and Jason (Tara) of Silver Creek, NE. Grandchildren Matthew (Alejandra) of Denver, CO; Chris, Noah, and Zac Urkoski of Seward, NE; Roni and Michaela McClellen of Papillion, NE; Ally and Haley Engleman of LaVista, NE; Jamison, Korbe, and Tate Urkoski of Silver Creek, NE;. Brothers: Frank (Phyllis) Dubas, of Columbus, Emil (Kathryn) Dubas, of Palmer, Dan (Betsy) Dubas, of Columbus, Larry (Bonnie) Dubas, of Grand Island; Sisters: Anne Bialas, of Fullerton, Leona Kozak, of Columbus. Along with many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; her parents, Frank Sr. and Frances Dubas; sister, Helen Kozak; brothers, Leo Steve, Edwin (Dean), Al, and Lou,; brothers-in-law, Al Kozak, Louie Bialas.
