Jeanette M. Seiler, age 83, of Monroe, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Columbus.
Jeanette Seiler was born July 21st, 1928 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Thomas and Anne (Hennecke) Morrow. She attended primary school in Beatrice. Jeanette attended high school in Beatrice, Kramer High School in Columbus and graduated from Shelby High School in 1946. Jeanette married Don Seiler on October 16th, 1947 in Columbus. Jeanette was a stay at home mom and farm wife until going to work at Douglas and Lomason in 1967. She retired from there in 1991. Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving mother to her 9 children. She enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, bird watching, praying, following her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's activities. She had a green thumb and would grow anything. Jeanette was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Mom always had time to listen and would make friends and talk to anyone she met. She didn't know a stranger. She was the glue to her family, and she will be sorely missed.
