Jeanette Mckown

Jeanette McKown of Columbus died Friday, June 2, 2023, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am June 13, 2023, at St. Isidore Catholic Church.  Visitation is June 12 from 5-7 pm with a 7:00 pm Vigil at McKown Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until service time at the Church.  Interment is in All Saints Cemetery.

Jeanette McKown was born September 18, 1942, in Cozad, NE to William and Vera (Earll) Brock.  She grew up in Cozad where she received graduated from Cozad High School in 1961.  Jeanette married William "Bill" McKown on April 28, 1967, at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus.  Jeanette worked various factory jobs including at Monroe's, D&L, Torin Products, Becton-Dickinson, lastly at the pharmacy in Wal-Mart.  She loved bowling, going to the movies, and made sure to talk to and attend all the grandchildren's events.
