Betty Jean Soulliere, beloved wife of William H. Soulliere, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Betty Jean Soulliere was born September 20, 1927 in Appleton City, Missouri. She was raised on a farm before attending business school in Kansas City. She was married to Thomas Boyd from1948 until his death in 1974. Jean married Bill Soulliere, owner of Bills Tire Outlet in Columbus, in 1987. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed golf, dancing and playing bridge.
Other survivors include daughter Willa Boyd (Mrs. Ted) Lutz of Falls Church, VA; son Clayton Boyd of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Kerry Lutz (currently living in China) and Christopher (Jasman) Lutz of St. Louis; two great-grandchildren Valyn and Scarlett Lutz. Stepchildren Becky (Ron) Brandl, Bill (Jolene) Soulliere Jr. and Bob (Michelle) Soulliere. She is also survived by a brother C. E. Boyles, Jr. and a sister Lucy Turner.
