Janice Hoffart, age 79, of Columbus died Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. March 7, 2026 at the McKown Funeral Home.

Janice was born June 1, 1946 in Plainview, Nebraska to Floyd and Doris (Albin) Foster. She was raised in Plainview where she graduated from Plainview High School. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Hoffart on May 13, 1967 in Plainview. They lived in O’Neill and Ravenna. Janice worked for many years at St. Anthony's Hospital in O’Neill and the Senior Center in Ravenna as a cook. Following retirement they moved to Columbus. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards.

Janice is survived by her son Kirby (Brenda) Hoffart, daughter Karri (Rick) Lammers, grandchildren: Mikala (Miguel), Amber (Bob), Jake (Kali), Isaac, Grace (Alex) and Jonathan, great grandchildren: Lillian, Quinton, Jaci, Levi and Charlie, sister: Julie Dusatko and brother: Larry (Karen) Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Kelly and husband: Jimmie
