Janet Plugge, age 73, of Columbus died Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Janet Louise Plugge was born July 22, 1938 in Buffalo County, Nebraska to Lincoln and Eleanor (Grudle) Edlund. She grew up south of Elm Creek. Janet graduated from Holdrege High School in 1957. She married Jack Ingold Feb. 19, 1960. They lived in Columbus, where she worked at Williams Grade School as a cook. They had 2 children, Julie Ann Ingold and Jolaine Kay Ingold. She later married Walter Plugge. In 2006, she entered the Golden Living Center. She was an artistic, creative person who enjoyed animals, crafts and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
