Janet HӧEr

Janet Her, age 79, of Duncan, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.

Janet was born September 13, 1938 in Columbus, Nebraska to Edward and Imogene (Lohr) Staroscik. She received her education at St. Stanislaus School in Duncan and graduated from Duncan High in 1956. She married Christopher Hoer on April 17, 1958 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. Along with raising her family she worked at Becton-Dickinson and later at Beard-Warren as a receptionist. She was a lifetime member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Emil Staroscik, sister: Mary (Kinzer) Thiem and son-in-law: Neil Nickolite
