Jane Osteen

Jane Osteen, 65, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home in Columbus.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Friday, January 1, 2021 at McKown Funeral Home.

Jane was born August 25, 1955 in Omaha to Albert and Contance (Grasso) Osteen. She graduated from Bryan High School in 1973 where she was a cheerleader. She later attended nursing school. She worked in various restaurants in Omaha, including Anthony's. She later worked as a rep for a wine and spirit company and in furniture sales. On December 12, 2014 she was united in marriage to David F. Syslo in Las Vegas. They lived in Las Vegas for 9 ½ years until moving to Columbus. Jane had a strong Catholic faith. She enjoyed her dog Pepper, playing the accordion and traveling to Aruba, St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia and other Islands.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Al Osteen
