Jane Ann Liss

Jane Ann (Michaelsen) Liss, age 57, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday August 20, 2004 at the Rose Blumkin Home in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday August 24, 2004 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Weisbecker and Reverend Louis Sojka officiating. Burial is in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 5:00 p.m. Monday at St. Bonaventure Church with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service also at the church. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at McKown Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to Donors Choice.

Jane Ann Liss was born November 6, 1946 in Columbus, Nebraska to Melvin and Agnes (German) Michaelsen. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1964 and Kearney State College in 1969 with a degree in Special Education. She married Lawrence Liss on July 28, 1972 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Jane worked as a Pre-School Speech Pathologist through the Columbus Public Schools for many years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and Chapter CH PEO.
