Jane E. Davis

Jane Davis, age 81, of Columbus, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. with a Vigil service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at McKown Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Jane Davis was born February 20, 1943 in Dodge, Nebraska to Rudolph and Bertha (Schrage) Studnicka.  She graduated from Schuyler High School in 1961. She went on to receive her Associate Degree from Platte College. She was married to Norman "Norm" Davis in 1962 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. She worked at the Hanes Corporation and later Paul Schumacher Law firm until retirement.  She enjoyed swimming, walking,  bridge clubs, and volunteering her time. She was a member of St. Theresa Sodality, CASA worker, and member of Senior Olympics swim team.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Elizabeth (Jim) Davis of Columbus
6 Grandchildren: Thomas (Tiffany), DonLee, Melissa, Tiffany, Mariah, and Nicole
11 great grandchildren
Brother: Rudy Richard Studnicka of Columbus
Sister: Doris and Dave Gustin of Clarkson
Nephew: Steven Gustin of Clarkson
