James Snyder

James "Jim" Snyder, age 73 of Genoa, died Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Arbor Care Centers in Fullerton.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Rock's Bar in Genoa.

James Rudolph Snyder, son of Samuel Richard and Loraine Theresa (Shanle) Snyder, was born June 20, 1951. He was baptized and confirmed at Saint Rose of Lima Church in Genoa. He attended Genoa public schools for 12 years. Jim enlisted in the United States Marines in 1969. He enjoyed Nebraska football, his Harley motorcycle, watching westerns and visiting with friends and family. He drove a truck for many years.
He was united in marriage to Jolene Wiser on December 4, 1971. Together they had two children: Heidi Jo Snyder and Justin James Snyder.
In 2000, Jim married Roberta Meyer. Jim and Bobbi lived in Genoa since 2008.
