James "Frog" Pollock, age 81 of Columbus, died Friday, January 30, 2026, at Emerald Nursing in Columbus.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at McKown Funeral Home.

Jim Pollock was born October 22, 1944 in Jamestown, ND to Chester Pollock and Evelyn Lusche. Jim lived in several places but spent the majority of his life in Columbus. On March 24th, 1986 Jim was united in marriage to Carol Zerr.

Frog was a truck driver for Crete Carrier for several years. In retirement Frog drove part time for Johnson Trucking and collecting tickets for Speedway 30. Jim also played "Santa" at local businesses and homes around Columbus for over 50 years.

He is survived by: Wife Carol, Brother Vince (Tonja) Lusche, Granddaughters:

Amy (Bud) Barcel, Katie (Cody) Kreger, Nicole (Austin) Bates, Samantha Dawson, Maggie Dawson, Isabelle Dawson, and 7 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by: Parents Chester Pollock and Evelyn Lusche, Brother Frank Pollock, Sister Karen Hansel, and Granddaughter Jessica Klug-Brehm.
