James McIntosh, 62, of Silver Creek, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. Visitation is 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Visitation will continue Thursday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial is in Valley View Cemetery in Genoa.
James W. McIntosh was born October 8, 1959, to Will and Margaret "Daisy" (Tackett) McIntosh in Blytheville, Arkansas. He attended school in Cave City, Arkansas, where he graduated in 1977. After high school, James joined the US Army. After his discharge, he worked various jobs in agriculture. On December 24, 1983, James was united in marriage to Lori Martens in Sidney, Arkansas. He worked for many years at the Sliver Creek Lumber Yard, Appleton, and ADM, where he recently retired from. James enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing with his friend, Glen, and hunting. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and watching NASCAR.
