James Fink

James S. Fink, age 64 of Columbus died Friday, August 26, 2011 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.

James was born June 14,1947 in Grand Rapids, Minesota to David and Beaulah (Dryden) Fink. He grew in Grand Rapids and graduated from high School in 1966. He graduated from Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids. In 1977 he moved to Fremont, Nebraska and worked at Western Homes in North Bend. He later moved to David City where he worked at Henningson Foods. James married Marlene Ptacek on November 4, 1978 in Fremont. They lived in Columbus where he worked for Vishay. James enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and John Wayne movies.

Sister: Linda Hoglund of Grand Rapids, MN
Grandchildren:Chad Chapek & fiance April Thompson, Heather Wilken & daughter Jaelyn Potter, McKenzie and Danica Jensen, Oddesa & son Wyatt & Dallas Shephard, Skylyr Hill, Haley, Kaitlin, Whitney Carpenter, Madison Ramy, Gunner & Mason Fink, along with step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
