Jacqueline Ann (Stuefer) Marler

January 26, 1926 — June 17, 2008

JACQUELINE ANN (STUEFER) MARLER, Age 82, of San Bernardino, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Milam Manor Residential Home in Colton. Born January 26, 1926 to John (Jack) and Gladys Stuefer in Rising City, Nebraska. She attended Parochial School through the seventh grade in Columbus, NE. In 1938 her family moved to San Bernardino where she graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1943 and from San Bernardino Community College in 1945. After college, she was employed as a laboratory technician at St. Bernardine Hospital for several years and then as a Parking Control Officer for the City of San Bernardino Engineering Department. For many years she participated as a Production Assistant with the San Bernardino Civic Light Opera Association and later was a volunteer with the St. Bernardine Hospital Foundation Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnie Marler. She is survived by cousins, Herb Abts of Choctaw, OK; Burdean Christ of Grand Island, NE; Dorothy Glaser of Columbus, NE; Duane and Jayne Flory of Gibbon, NE; John A. Held of Redondo Beach, CA; Bill Held of Columbus, NE; Sandra M. Madsen of Costa Mesa, CA; John H. Johannes of Hemet, CA; Gayle and Dayle Stuefer of Lincoln, NE; Odetta Wacker of Fremont. NE and step-grandchildren, Brice Fullerton of Riverside, CA; Robin Fullerton, of Riverside, CA; and Joshua Fisher of Redlands, CA.
