Holly Ternus

Holly Kaye Ternus, age 60, of Columbus, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home.

Holly was born November 4, 1956 in David City to Wayland and Shirley (Sargent) Den. She grew up in David City and graduated from David City High School. She married Paul "Steve" Ternus on October 28, 1977 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. They lived in Humphrey before moving to Columbus. Holly worked at Dale-Vishay, Columbus Telegram and most recently at BMC Transportation. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, family pets and especially spending time with her family.


She is survived by:
Husband: Paul "Steve" Ternus of Columbus
Daughter: Ami (Doug) Kallberg of Minneapolis, MN
Granddaughter: Kaylee Kallberg
Mother: Shirley Den of David City
Sister: Denise (Rob Jones) Den-Jones of Lincoln

She was preceded in death by father: Wayland Den and brother: Tom Spragg.
