Henry Shotkoski of Genoa died Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow. Visitation is on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 5-7 pm at the church with a 7:00 pm Vigil, also at the church. Interment is at a later date in the Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery-Krakow.
Henry "Hank" Shotkoski was born January 20, 1938 in Genoa to Henry and Cecelia (Torczon) Shotkoski. He attended grade school at Krakow and graduated from Genoa High School. Following high school, Hank served in the US Army serving stateside in Alaska. On August 23, 1961, Hank was united in marriage to Carolyn Adkisson at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. Hank retired from farming in 2000 and soon after he went to work at the Columbus Sales Pavilion. He enjoyed maintaining the homeplace-keeping everything in working order and looking great. Hank was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Krakow.
