Henry Peach Jr

Henry W. Peach Jr., age 66, of Monroe died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Monroe. The Rev. Tamara Holtz will officiate. Burial will be in the Okay Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Swanson Post #322-Monroe. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus and Friday 9-10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Monroe. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Okay Cemetery or family choice.

Henry W. Peach Jr. was born July 10, 1940 in Beulah, North Dakota to Henry and Thelma (Gordon) Peach. At the age of 3 he moved with his family to the family farm north of Monroe. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1958. Henry served in the Army National Guard. He married Bonnie Bardsley on August 13, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Platte Center. Henry continued farming north of Monroe throughout the years. He was an active member of the Swanson Post # 332 American Legion in Monroe where he was the past Sgt. of Arms. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monroe and a past member of Okay Church.
