Helen L. Niedbalski

Helen died Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home in Columbus.

Helen Lucille was born on August 20, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to Michael and Barbara (Korus) Nosal. Her family moved to Columbus when she was three years old. Helen worked for Nash Dietz Company and Witthoff & McIntosh, an auditing and accounting firm located on the third floor of the present day Schwesers building.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Niedbalski on June 14, 1949 at St. Anthonys Church. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June 2014. Helen was a member of St. Anthonys Church since 1928. She was a member of St. Theresas Sodality and involved in Perpetual Adoration. Helen was a past member of the Parish Council and actively involved in the church bazaars. For many years, Helen was responsible for St. Anthonys Social Hall rentals. Helen was always willing to help wherever she was needed.
Helen was known for her beautiful flower garden and took great pride in their vegetable garden. Her skills in the kitchen were thoroughly enjoyed by her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Helen will be remembered for the love and constant care she provided for her youngest son Jim.

Grandchildren Chris, Suzie (Peter) Walsh, Great grandsons Weston and Hank Walsh.

Grandchildren Greg, Adam and Matt (Shanna), Great grandchildren Trevor, Alex and Claire.
