Helen O. Lippert, age 84, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska formerly of Columbus died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at the Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus with Reverend Timothy White officiating. Burial is in the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral home and 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with a 1:45 p.m. Family Prayer Service.
Helen O. Lippert was born August 24, 1921 in Monroe, Nebraska to Henry and Ollie (Long) Brunken. She married Alvin J. Lippert on December 19, 1944 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Helen was a devoted wife and mother. She also worked at the Y-Knot Cafe in Columbus. Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Harmony Chapter #13 Order Of Eastern Star and A.A.R.P. She enjoyed camping, playing cards and watching All My Children.
