Helen B. Kwiatkowski, 86, of Columbus died Sunday, October 27, 2002 at Columbus Manor. There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Miksch officiating. The Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:30 am on Wednesday at the church. There is no visitation.
Helen B. Kwiatkowski was born July 17, 1916 in Nance County to Frank & Balbina (Tarnick) Podraza. She was raised in Nance County and attended District 32 school. In May of 1954 she married Sigmund Kwiatkowski at St. Peter's Church in Fullerton. They lived in Omaha before she moved to Fullerton to take care of her parents. Helen moved to Columbus where she worked as a cook at the Avenue Bar. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of America, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a sister, Frances Jarecke.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister Emma Mekosh.
