Helen Buggi

Helen M. Buggi, age 92, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday August 26, 2002 at Madonna Rehabilitation Home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday August 30, 2002 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Joseph A. Miksch officiating. Burial is in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Helen M. Buggi was born April 9, 1910 on the farm west of Columbus to Frank & Mary (Stachura) Buggi. She grew up in Columbus and attended St. Anthony School. She worked at Dale Electronics for 4 years before deciding to stay on the farm to work and take care of her parents. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, animals, baking, especially wedding cakes and travelling.
