Harvey R. Leith, 83, of Silver Creek died Saturday March 17, 2001 at the Columbus Manor. Services are 10:00 am Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek with Rev. Bev Minor officiating. Visitation is from 5-8 pm Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Silver Creek and Wednesday from 9:00 am until service time at the Church.
Harvey was born on February 21, 1918 to William & Ever (Dickson) Leith. He grew up and attended schools in Silver Creek. He served on the Civilian Conservation Corp in Nebraska, Idaho, and Washington. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and served as a farmhand in the Silver Creek area.
He is survived by 3 sisters, Adeline Lamb of Silver Creek, Dorothy (William) Whitaker of Sacramento, CA, and Mildred Richardson of Omaha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, a Brother Martin George Leith, and an infant Brother Lester Leith.
