Griz Crumley

Richard L. "Griz" Crumley, age 70, of Columbus died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A Celebration of his life will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.

Richard L. "Griz" Crumley was born April 19, 1949 in Columbus to Albert and Charlotte (Johnson) Crumley. He graduated from Platte Center High School. Griz served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from August 1969 – March 1971. After his discharge he attended Milford for auto body repair. He then worked in auto repair in Omaha and then Columbus. Griz retired from Behlen Mfg. after 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, and especially horse races. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan.
