Greg Wiseman, 47, of Columbus died Monday, June 27, 2005 at his home. Funeral services are 10:30 am Friday, July 1 at Grace Episcopal Church in Columbus with the Rev. Nancy Idenden officiating. Friends may pay their respects and sign the register book from 3-5 pm Thursday at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in Columbus Cemetery.
Greg Wiseman was born October 14, 1957 in Columbus to Earl Ray and Patricia Ann (Ifland) Wiseman. He grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1975. Greg was a member of the Columbus High Football team where he was voted the recipient of the Bob Murray Memorial Award as the Team MVP and was named All-State. In his honor, the Greg Wiseman Courage Award is given each year to a CHS football player. Greg was a carpenter working in home construction. Greg moved to Black Canyon City, AZ before returning to Columbus in 1994. In the later years of his life, Greg suffered from MS. He loved animals and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
