Greg Rinkol, age 48, of Silver Creek, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home in Silver Creek.
Greg was born August 7, 1965 in Columbus, Nebraska to Clem and Evelyn (Stankoski) Rinkol. He graduated from Silver Creek High in 1983. He attended Peru State College where he played football. He later worked at BIBA Construction of Geneva. In 1994 he returned to Silver Creek when he purchased the Highway 30 Tavern. He then worked for Dobson Construction before joining Paulsen Construction where he was currently employed. He was a member of St. Lawrence Church and had served on the school board. Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with his friends, family and nieces and nephews.

nieces and nephews: Madelyn, Payton, Mason and Brayden
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Adam and Mary Stankoski, Stanley and Victoria Rinkol Sr.
