Gloria V. Shearer

Gloria died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Immanuel Fontenelle Home in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by loving family and staff.

Gloria Viola Shearer was born March 8, 1938 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to Charles and Viola (Chronister) Kramer. She attended Carlisle High School. Gloria married Paul Shearer in October of 1954. After Pauls death in 1972, Gloria settled and raised her family for 15 years in Harvard, Nebraska where she ran her own dry cleaners in Clay Center, Nebraska. After she sold her business she made her home in Columbus where she worked at the Columbus Community Hospital in the Dietary Department. Gloria loved her job and visiting with people. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
