Gloria Bonk

Gloria A. Bonk, age 76, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 am Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with the Rev. Del Lape officiating. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 8:00 -10:00 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony Church.

Gloria A. Bonk was born March 11, 1929 in Platte County, Nebraska to Joseph F. and Helen E. (Rodak) Korgie, She received her elementary education at St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1946. She married Raymond Bonk on June 12, 1950 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Along with raising her family, Gloria volunteered at the St. Anthony Grade School Library for 12 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality.
