Glenda Ryba of Columbus died Saturday March 14, 2026 at Brookestone Acres.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. There will be a vigil service Wednesday 4:00 p.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Visitation will continue following the vigil until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also continue Thursday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be in the All Saints Cemetery.

Glenda was born September 3, 1937 in rural Platte Center, Nebraska to Edwin and Margaret (Greisen) Zoucha. She attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and graduated from Platte Center High School as Valedictorian in the class of 1955.

On April 7, 1956 Glenda was united in marriage to Emil Ryba at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Platte Center. To this union five children were born. Through the years she worked at BD Medical, JC Penny, Wishbones and the American Legion.

Glenda is survived by her husband: Emil “Pike” Ryba, Ken, Dave, Steve, James and Sue Thomas.

9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren,

Siblings: Lavina Adkisson, Connie (Dennis) Ritter, Vondell (Carroll) Mohlman and Doug (Kris) Zoucha.

She was preceded in death by her parents: brother: Ed “Sonny” Zoucha, brother-in-law: Don Adkisson, niece: Mindi Mohlman and great granddaughter: Ivy Ryba.
