Geraldine Mcbride

Geraldine McBride, age 87, of Columbus, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Geraldine McBride was born March 24, 1927 in Harvard, Nebraska to William and Rose (Ross) Brehm. She grew up in Harvard and attended Harvard Public Schools. She married Elmer Johnson. To this union four children were born. She lived in the Harvard area where she raised her family. In August 1987 she married Galen McBride in York, Nebraska. For the past 24 years she has lived in Columbus. Geraldine received her LPN degree. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed Nebraska football, NASCAR, and rodeos.

Daughter: Judy (Doug) Johnson of Columbus
Daughter: Janis (Dale) Keasling of Maricopa, AZ
Daughter: Jackie Long of Ozark, MO
Son: Greg (Gladys) Johnson of Columbus
15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren
And her special dog: Charlie

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Lester, Corky, Vernon Brehm, sister: Jo Ila Howsden
