Geraldine Langan of Columbus died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Columbus Community Hospital.
Geraldine Love Langan was born October 25, 1926 in Monroe, Nebraska to Walter N. and May (Watts) Schmidt. She grew up in the O'Kay community where she attended District #32 and graduated from Monroe High School. On March 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to Milton Langan in Columbus. Geraldine lived all her married life in Columbus where she worked at Dale Electronics, Sunset Superette Grocery, and Langan Grocery. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a Gold Star Mother with the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her family.
