Geraldine Gronenthal of Columbus, formerly of Platte Center, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at her home in Prairie Village in Columbus.
Geraldine Gronenthal was born December 21, 1926 in Monroe, NE to John and Hattie (Schrader) Weber. She grew up on the family farm by Monroe where she also attended schools. Geraldine was united in marriage to Edward Gronenthal on November 5, 1944 at St. Josephs Church in Platte Center. Geraldine lived on the farm her entire life until moving into Prairie Village in 2016. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, dancing, and going to the casinos. Geraldine was a member of St. Josephs Church in Platte Center and the St. Anns Society.
