Geraldine &Quot;Gerrie&Quot; Behle

Geraldine 'Gerrie" Behle, age 84, of Columbus, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Gerrie Behle was born February 8, 1931 in Platte County, Nebraska to Frederick and Henrietta (Keller) Kersch. She received her education at Platte County District #28,St. Mary's Catholic School near Humphrey and graduated from Kramer High in Columbus. On August 20, 1950, Gerrie married LaVern Behle in Columbus. Along with raising her family she worked at the John Deere Implement dealer for over thirty years. She then worked for Red County Implement for several years. Gerrie enjoyed working with and knowing the area farmers.

Gerrie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed genealogy, playing cards and spending time with her family. She also worked as a staff member for the Columbus Airport Authority. Gerrie enjoyed a special relationship and received support from her niece Marcy Hohnholt.

Great Grandchildren: Brooke Langan, Brett Langan, Lauren Miszuk, Sydney Miszuk, Tyler Behle, Claire Behle, Taylor Hinshaw, Kya Hinshaw
Brother: Mark (Donna) Kersch of Columbus


She was preceded in death by her parents: Frederick & Henrietta Kersch, husband: LaVern, brothers: Paul and Donald Kersch
