George Ryck

George E. Ryck of Columbus died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

George E. Ryck was born February 22, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska to George A. and Adeline (Yecha) Ryck. He received his education at St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Ryan High School. He graduated from UNO-College of Engineering. George was married to Dorothy Brian on June 22, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omaha. He worked for Nebraska Public Power in Columbus. He later owned and operated Little King and LK Sports Cards in Columbus. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club and served on the Board of Directors for Camp Pawnee.

George is survived by:

Daughter: Marci (David) Greene of Omaha, NE
Son: Joe Ryck of Papillion, NE
Daughter: Tiffany Ryck of Lincoln, NE
Brother: Don (Bonnie) Ryck of Omaha, NE
Brother Tom (Cheryl) Ryck of Omaha, NE
Sister: Marlene (George) Brannan of Missouri Valley, IA

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Kevin Ryck.
