George "Popcorn" Lozos, age 88, of Columbus died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Norfolk Veterans Home.
George Lozos was born April 1, 1922 in Elk River, Idaho to John and Ethel (McDougal) Lozos. He married Betty Glissman in Sioux City. George served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II from 1942-1945. He lived in Pender, Nebraska before moving to Columbus in 1951. He worked for Smith's Dairy, Lyon's Transfer and Clark Brothers until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family on Sundays, horseracing and playing cards. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and V.F.W

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Coby
