George L. Keller, 75, of Geneva, NE died Wednesday January 9, 2002 at the Hebron Hospital. Funeral services are 10:00 am Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with the Rev. Roland Jank officiating. Visitation is from 4-8 pm Friday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus and from 9 am until service time at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.
George was born July 1, 1926 in Richland, Nebraska to Henry and Anna (Morkert) Keller. He grew up in the Richland, Schuyler and Columbus area. He attended Kramer High School in Columbus. He married Neoma Eckmann on July 12, 1949 in Pierre, South Dakota. He worked as a professional salesman for many companies including Consumer Public Power. He lived in Columbus; Salina, Kansas and Aurora before settling in Geneva in 1999. He enjoyed antiques and was an avid sportsman.
