Genevieve Olsufka, age 84, of Columbus died Monday, December 26, 2005 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Del Lape will officiate. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McKown Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Genenieve Olsufka was born March 17, 1921 in Duncan, Nebraska to Felix and Victoria (Slowinski) Tworek. She received her early education at St. Stanislaus School in Duncan and St. Anthony School in Columbus. She graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Columbus. Genevieve married Edward Olsufka on July 1, 1947 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. She worked at the Platte County Courthouse as the assistant county clerk. Along with raising her family she enjoyed gardening, animals, especially her cats and was a former Girl Scouts Leader. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Granddaughter: Kris Rowley of Omaha, NE
Several Great Grandchildren
