Genevieve Mihulka

Genevieve Mihulka of Columbus died Monday, November 22, 2010 at Columbus Community Hospital.

Genevieve Marie Mihulka was born July 23, 1927 in Schuyler, NE to Joseph and Emma (Knapp) Dubsky. She grew up in Schuyler the youngest of twelve children. She attended Schuyler schools and worked in her parents grocery store. On August 17, 1948, she married Ferdinand Fritz Mihulka at St. Marys Church in Schuyler. They built a home in Columbus where she has lived since. Genevieve was a loving wife and mother. She deeply loved her family and grandchildren. Her passions were cooking and baking. She loved to read, crochet, and in her younger days go dancing most every Saturday. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Perpetual Adoration, and volunteered at the hospital.
