Genevieve M. Laska

Genevieve died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.

Genevieve M. Laska was born April 7, 1910 in Parsons, Kansas to Herman and Mary Jane (Mapes) Scheidts. She graduated from Parsons High School. Genevieve married Leo Laska on January 9, 1935 at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Pilsno. She lived in the Duncan area until moving to Columbus in 1985 following her husband's death. Genevieve worked as bookkeeper for her husband's business Laska Well Drilling Co. Genevieve was a member of St. Anthony Church. While living in Duncan she played organ for the church choir.
