Gene Adamy, age 85, of Columbus died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Morys Haven in Columbus.
Gene was born September 28, 1927 in Columbus, Nebraska to Nick and Sara (Evans) Adamy Sr. He received his education in Columbus and attended college. Gene taught school in Platte County for a period of time. He owned several rental houses and enjoyed raising cattle on his acreage.
Gene is survived by his sister: Lila Egger of Columbus and his brother: Ted (JoAnn) Adamy of Anchorage, Alaska
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Nick Adamy Jr.
